1 Visitor Review for Phantasm: Ravager

  1. Warbeast says:

    One ambiguous, nearly insulting, muddled mess of a movie!
    I Saw Phantasm Ravager in it’s limited run in a small theater back in October (was really geeked about it too).
    And the only thought afterwards which came to mind was;
    ‘This is what took them 20 years to come up with’? PU! Move over ID 4 Resurgence!
    Angus Scrimm was MIA most of the movie. And obviously way too old (no disrespect) to
    effectively & menacingly play the Tall Man any longer. Should’ve had him morph into the WWE’s Undertaker or something & go from there.
    Anyway, I actually turned around in my seat after the credits started rolling & said very loudly for all to hear;
    “What the Hell did I just watch?” Nobody knew! Granted it does have it’s moments but not enough to save this film. Shame too!
    Phantasm Ravager actually creates more questions than answers the previous ones left over from Phantasm Oblivion & the other films.
    What happened to “Phantasm’s End” (circa 1999)? Much better story line & way cooler concept imo.
    Phantasm Ravager=A MESS!
    Grade: D
