Honesty this film is a life saver. I lost my Bestfriend to Cancer in March this year. She was only 16 and it came very suddenly. She was diagnosed in late January and sadly lost her battle in late March. When I first heard the film was going to be showing in my city I was reluctant to go as it was so soon after, but honestly it was one of the best choices I have made so far. This film not only helped me realise what my friend was going through but also in some way have me a chance to connect with her again. I wish my friend found someone like Gus to give her, her own little infinity but I know that she is in a better place now. Since watching the film on the early release date ‘the fan screening’ here in the UK. I have In fact gone back and watched it again since then. I just want to thank John Green for this amazing book and for everyone involved in making the film. I honestly can’t explain the impact this film has had on me!

I loved this movie! I just saw it a few minutes ago and was so happy they finally made a movie that is…well…real! I have always been troubled about how there isn’t any movie for cancer patients to look up to and now they can look to Hazel. The way she sees the world and the way she moves through the pain. Life isn’t perfect but everything makes it seem that way! I wish I could have a relationship like Gus and Hazel. He treated her right and you don’t see much of that anymore. (If you have a guy like him you’re lucky) I know several people who had/have cancer and it is awful. It’s not a walk in the park. I love this movie because no matter what our flaws and faults we can still be beautiful and feel special and make our mark on the world like Gus always talks about! I share that same interest! I want to be remembered and I’m pretty sure everyone will be in their own way. I, sadly, was not able to get the book because I lack transportation, kindles and nooks, and the book store was sold out. My friend asked me, “Does it have a happy ending?” I simply responded with, “Does life?” I’m glad I saw this movie and am hoping to get my hands on the DVD and book! I recommend this for everyone! It is sad but, come on, I can’t be the only one tired of the stupid happy endings other movies have that make life seem perfect. It is a tear catcher but worth every minute! “Okay?”

I watched your movie. Hazel and Gus are now my inspiration to keep fighting. I am a very young girl with high chances of catching cancer because almost all my family members have it and I’m being treated so it does not come. Hazel was very brave she never let anything stop her from doing what she wanted. She also did not want to fall inlove because she didn’t want to hurt Gus but did fall in love. Gus on the other hand was also very very inspiring. He lost his leg but acted as if he still had it. He knew he had cancer but didn’t act like he was dying. He loved Hazel so deeply. I would love to meet both or one of them and learn more about the movie and how it felt to act and well just ask them
For advice. If Gus would of not of died I bet hazel and him would of had a happy ending. Then again they did anyways. They may not be together but their hearts are. I’ve watched this movie about 5
Times and read the book and plan on buying the DVD and watching it the rest of my life. I love you all so much. This movie reminded me of me. Hazel was just like me. Didn’t want to fall in love because she was dying but did. I want to know about what happens next. Will their be a part 2? I have so many questions about the movie. If only their was a way I could ask them. But thank you for your time and I hope you read this it would mean the world to me. I love you all for this movie. I won’t give up.
