As the curtain rises, Hannah hesitantly steps onto the stage for her theatrical debut in college. Yet before her first lines, she collapses. Countless medical tests all point to one underlying factor: Hannah’s difficult birth. This revelation is nothing compared to discovering that she was actually adopted… after a failed abortion attempt.

Bewildered, angered and confused, Hannah embarks on a journey with Jason, her oldest friend. In the midst of her incredible journey to discover her hidden past and find hope for her unknown future, Hannah sees that life can be so much more than what you have planned.

  1. Rick Schow says:

I loved October baby. I live in Canada but was fortunate to see October Baby in Montana in April on a getaway week-end. I would see it again in a heart-beat. I have told so many friends and family about this excellent film but many have never even heard of it but they all watch the trailer. It was not released in Canada so I might just buy a DVD and rent the theater and sponsor a free viewing through my business. Thanks to Goldwyn Studios for this quality film.

  2. Aileen says:

I had the amazing opportunity to see it in a special release. AMAZING!!!! If every girl considering abortion would be asked to see this movie, I am sure that most would reconsider! This is a step in the right direction but we need to continue to pray, pray, pray!

  3. Adri says:

The movie came out in March so there’s a good chance it’s already passed through San Diego. It was in the theaters locally for about 4 weeks only then moved on to other areas. But the DVD release date isn’t far off. A powerful movie with an extraordinary message. Hope you get to see it soon.

  4. LJ Hall says:

When will October Baby come to San Diego CA theaters? I have been looking for it but it is never within a 45 mile radius of my home. Are the San Diego area theaters anti-Christian? Or did I miss the movie when it was here?

  5. Lauri Hernandez says:

Awesome movie…my son, my beautiful precious son, was actually going to be aborted. I convinced his bio mom to give him up for adoption. I was there when he was born, and he is a beautiful free spirited blond hair brown eyed 3 year old. I sit and watch him in amazement and realize how he almost didn’t exist. Thank you God for allowing her to change her mind and her heart, and chosing LIFE!

  6. Angel says:

WOW, what a movie! I was hesitant about going to watch this movie since I thought it might be strong on the anti-abortion theme (Not that I favor abortion) but I was completely surprised by the movie. It was about love and forgiveness. The timing of my watching the movie was so God-timed because, while not having been an abortion survivor, the results of feeling deep rejection are the same. I struggle with not having a sense of belonging or worth or knowing who I am and what is my purpose.

I am waiting for it to come out on DVD since my husband and daughter did not get to watch it. It is definitely a must see movie. Hope many will take the time to see it.

  7. Michelle White says:

October Baby is one of the best movies I have ever seen. It is a beautiful life story of love and forgiveness! The world needs to see this movie. The actors did an amazing job and it felt so real. You could feel God’s love for these people and their love for each other! I loved it!
