I lived in
Detroit when this happened. I recall the military vehicles driving in the alley behind my house and through the neighborhood, the helicopters and all of the smoke in the air. I worked at Detroit General Hospital and the ambulances, with all the windows taped, picking me and my office co-workers at our homes to take us to work. The armed military, national guard etc. were all through the hospital. When we went to the cafeteria we sat next to some who had their bayoneted rifles standing at their sides. When we were finall able to drive our own vehicles, we had special passes to go through at least three checkpoints to reach the hosspital. Crazy time, one that I don’t ever want to live through again.
Waiting to see how much of the movie looks and sounds familiar.
