Storyline:

When their father passes away, four grown siblings, bruised and banged up by their respective adult lives, are forced to return to their childhood home and live under the same roof together for a week, along with their over-sharing mother and an assortment of spouses, exes and might-have-beens. Confronting their history and the frayed states of their relationships among the people who know and love them best, they ultimately reconnect in hysterical and emotionally affecting ways amid the chaos, humor, heartache and redemption that only families can provide—driving us insane even as they remind us of our truest, and often best, selves.

1 Visitor Review for This Is Where I Leave You

  1. Joe Cabello says:

This is Where I Leave You suffers from the same problem as many star-studded Hollywood films – Huge, talented cast given absolutely nothing interesting to do. The movie has its moments, which I ask, how could it not given the cast? However, the funniest moments of the movie seems out of place in terms of the overall tone, leading me to believe that the actors might have been trying to add more to it with some improve/personal spice, but with a lackluster script, those choices didn’t serve the movie. It’s a shame to see such a great cast wasted, but if you’re a fan of them you may enjoy this movie to some degree.
