Storyline:

Sherlock Holmes (Robert Downey Jr.) has always been the smartest man in the room…until now. There is a new criminal mastermind at large—Professor Moriarty (Jared Harris)—and not only is he Holmes’ intellectual equal, but his capacity for evil, coupled with a complete lack of conscience, may actually give him an advantage over the renowned detective. When the Crown Prince of Austria is found dead, the evidence, as construed by Inspector Lestrade (Eddie Marsan), points to suicide. But Sherlock Holmes deduces that the prince has been the victim of murder—a murder that is only one piece of a larger and much more portentous puzzle, designed by Professor Moriarty. The cunning Moriarty is always one step ahead of Holmes as he spins a web of death and destruction—all part of a greater plan that, if he succeeds, will change the course of history.

I saw her twice during the winter solstice festival holidays. It was again a complete breath of fresh air compared to anything I have seen in a long time.Cheers to Guy Richie and the cast.I will gladly purchase this movie.

  2. wtf? says:

Release date 12 june 2012? It’s 3 fucking months and the movie came out in cinema 16 dec. 6 Months til dvd release? That gotta have been the longest GAP I’ve ever heard of. I really liked this film and wanna see it again, I’ve only seen it once but this is really pissing me off. I’m not going to do as another dude wrote here, see the movie 9 times in cinema. That’s WAY EXPENSIVE.

I’m kind of certain that there will pop up a torrent of this film in 1-2 months. Then hollywood isn’t going to stop me, it’s clearly worth d-loading the film instead of wait till 12 June.

  3. Watson says:

I saw this movie 9 times withing the first week it came out. xD Total though I saw it 15 times and every penny weas worth it:) Everytime I saw it I still got as excited as the 1st time

  4. baker street says:

I’m going to see it again for the 6th and 7th time this week at the local budget theater ($1 a show), so I dont think ur right in sayin the person who has seein it nine times has spent that much. Besides this, who r u to say what one spends $100 on?? I’m sure u have spent this much and more on something others may find absurd.

  5. really says:

who goes to see a movie 9 times in theaters. you spent around 100 dollars on one movie. good job.

  6. fiona buckpitt says:

i loved it! saw it about 9 times. cannot wait until it is out on blu-ray. would like it to be out before may.

    cheers
    fiona

  7. butterscotch74 says:

I have seen this movie THREE times. Considering going to see it again this week. Delicious mixture of action and drama, appealing on a physical, emotional and intellectual level. Downey was absolutely right about it being better than the 1st movie, which was also excellent.

  8. gaucho says:
