went see this movie with my aunt about 2 weeks after i had surgery to remove a cyst on my tailbone. i absolutly loved it since im a cajun whose dad and both uncles were in the military (marine corps). this movie gave me a little insight as to what my uncle could have faced when he was the first unit in iraq during desert storm.

  2. Gray Wilson says:

  3. Jeri says:

This was a terrific movie. I think it depicts what the Navy Seals have to combat when on a mission. It’s worth seeing over!

  4. Ed says:

I couldn’t speak for almost fifteen after the movie ended. If your heart doesn’t feel anything after seeing this, you’re not human!

  5. rockwell linsley says:

  6. Dwight Clough says:

Great movie. I took my sixteen year old son to this after reading a positive review from a veteran. It had everything I expect in a good movie: characters I care about, a story worth telling, the right pacing, great action sequences. Most commentators point to the added level of military realism, which was great. But the thing that set the movie apart for me was the reminder that there really are heroes out there — men and women who care deeply about their families and their country, and are willing to make incredible sacrifices for what they care about. In a culture crowded with narcissism, cynicism and sarcasm, this was a breath of fresh air.
