When the spirits of the dead claim the flesh of the living, the future of mankind rests in the hands of three mysterious vagabonds who wander the post-apocalyptic wastelands. Some thought Hurricane Katrina was a natural disaster. In reality, it was the result of Duvalier’s meddling in matters beyond his comprehension. Now the barrier between reality and the supernatural realm has been broken, Papa Ghede has been bound, and only those with gris gris charms or strong spiritual constitutions have avoided falling prey to the Loa spirits. Into this conflict wanders Doctor John, Reece, and Shaner, three slingers who travel the south, dispatching zombies and cleansing the land. When the itinerant trio hears word of a blues song that can lift the plague of darkness and defeat Duvalier, the final struggle between darkness and light begins.
