Red Tails

1944. As the war in Europe continues to take its toll on Allied forces, the Pentagon brass has no recourse but to consider unorthodox options — including the untried and untested African-American pilots of the experimental Tuskegee training program. Just as the young Tuskegee men are on the brink of being shut down and shipped back home, they are given the ultimate chance to show their courage. Against all the odds, with something to prove and everything to lose, these intrepid young airmen take to the skies to fight for their country — and the fate of the free world.

    i am a ww2 historian, and found the film to be brilliant. in spite of a few very minor technical goofs, it puts the viewer back more than 60 years in history, and gives a real feeling of what actually took place. i am very anxious to have it on dvd, and wish they would make more like it. kudos to all those who made it possible.

    FANTASTIC MOVIE! Kudos to George Lucus for having the guts to make this film! I had chills watching it in the theaters. Blacks have always had to make sacrifices to proof our “worth”. I can’t wait to own this film! I am truly inspired by the history of the RED TAILS!

    Can’t wait for this to come out on DVD and Bluray.
    From what i have seen of this movie just from clips it looks great.
    Well done to george lucas for making this movie, the sacrifice of these men should be told.
    Well done….
